Wiki Design Tips

Content / Information
  • Is it obvious what your wiki page is about (it's purpose)?
  • Is the information on the page interesting? Compelling?
  • Does your introduction reel the reader in?
  • Is there too much information or too little?
  • Is all of the information accurate and up to date?
  • Did you cite your sources parenthetically and in a Works Cited?
  • Do all of the links work?

Organization of Content
  • Is the layout visually appealing? Does it look professional?
  • Does the information have a logical order?
  • Are there headings, a table of contents or other tools that help you to help you get around the page?

Clarity
  • Does the information make sense?
  • It is well written and easy to understand? Grammar? Spelling?

Graphics, Images, and Font
  • Are the images attractive?
  • Do the images make sense? Are they labeled?
  • Do the images complement the text?
  • Do they help the reader understand the topic better?
  • Does the font enhance the content or is it distracting?
